FIRESTONE BUILDING PRODUCTS RECOGNIZES 2019 FIRESTONE MASTER CONTRACTOR PROGRAM AWARD RECIPIENTS

Annual program honors contractors for excellence in commercial roofing
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 9, 2019) – Firestone Building Products, LLC (FSBP) announced today the list of top contractors who received designation within the Firestone Master Contractor Program. The industry’s longest running program recognizes the most elite commercial roofing contractors in North America and Latin America.
The Master Contractor Program recognizes the top five percent of Firestone Red Shield Licensed Roofing Contractors based on the quality and square footage of installed systems covered by the Red Shield Warranty, including RubberGard™ EPDM, UltraPly™ TPO, asphalt, metal, and Gaco™ waterproofing systems. The program awards distinction within two levels: Master Contractor and Platinum Master Contractor, which honors the top one percent of Firestone Red Shield Licensed roofing contractors. The Master Contractor Awards also include the prestigious Inner Circle of Quality and Best of the Best Awards. FSBP also announced its list of contractors awarded Partner in Quality. Each year, we look forward to celebrating our top contractors through the Master Contractor program, who each exemplify our commitment to delivering long-term, reliable solutions,” said Taylor Cole, President of FSBP. “We are honored our partners trust us to provide dependable solutions that set the standard in our industry.”
The Inner Circle of Quality Award (ICQ) was given to 128 Master Contractors based on their company’s Quality Incidence Rating (QIR), which is calculated for Firestone contractors who have installed at least 1 million square feet of Firestone roofs currently under warranty. 2019 marks 11 years of Firestone recognizing Best of the Best contractors. These individuals must meet qualifications including having a 0.0 QIR rating, a five-year tenure as a Master Contractor, status as a five-year recipient of an Inner Circle of Quality Award, and currently have at least eight million square feet under warranty. The 23 contractors recognized this year have a cumulative 468 million square feet of Firestone roofs currently under warranty and have amassed 383 ICQ Awards. The Master Contractor program is now in its 32nd year and this year’s Master Contractor event marked the 28th occasion since it was first held in Indianapolis.
